Maamoon Est. for Electrical Engineering started its business in 1971 when it was a small workshop located in the basement of the house of Sheikh Hassan Maamoon the Sheikh of El Azhar at the time and uncle of Eng. Mostafa Maamoon (the founder).
Mr. Mohamed El Sherbiny, the uncle of Eng. Mostafa Maamoon, joined him and the idea of importing goods from outside was established.
