Introduction Maamoon Est. for Electrical Engineering started its business in 1971 when it was a small workshop located in the basement of the house of Sheikh Hassan Maamoon the Sheikh of El Azhar at the time and uncle of Eng. Mostafa Maamoon (the founder). |

1976
Mr. Mohamed El Sherbiny, the uncle of Eng. Mostafa Maamoon, joined him and the idea of importing goods from outside was established.
1978
The establishment started to grow, and the opening of its new headquarters in Heliopolis took place.
1979
A new branch opened up at headquarters that was specialized in selling electronic components, television spare parts, video recorders, and cassettes.
1982
The repair and maintenance workshop was moved to headquarters to be the first workshop in Egypt to repair the color television.
1983
Mr. Mohamed El Sherbiny, the uncle of Eng. Mostafa Maamoon, passed away, and the company became an individual establishment owned by Eng. Mostafa Maamoon.
1986
A new branch specialized in selling electrical power and automation products opened up at headquarters.
1990
The establishment entered the new technological era, and a new branch was established at headquarters that was specialized in selling personal computers and networking components.
1991
The activity of assembling converters and DC power supplies was added to the activities of the establishment.
1992
The establishment entered the satellite systems era to become one of the first companies to install systems of satellite reception on the individual and group levels.
1995
A new branch opened up in the downtown area that specialized in communication systems and computer networking. Its address is 13 Youssef El Gendy St. Bab El Louk.
1996
The opening of a new branch for electrical power and automation as well as industrial electronics took place in the downtown area. Its address is 13 Bostan El Dekka St. El ALfy.
1998
A new showroom opened up at headquarters that specialized in communication systems.
Also, headquarters expanded to cover an area of 2,000 square meters, and the establishment grew in its import operations and became the agent for many manufacturers and suppliers in Japan, Korea, Germany, and France.
2003
The establishment became the sole agent for the following companies:
Edimax for computer networking devices
Elnec for programmers
Goldtool for tools
Ideal for UPS and AVR
Jave for special cables
Kuping for soldering products
Kuwes for networking cables and
MxVolta lead acid batteries
PA Tech for public address systems
Pizzato for limit and micro switches
Punktel for test equipments
Q&W for sensors and industrial power supplies
Sambo for DVR systems
Stac for UPS
Sunf Pu for special cables
Surnet for security cameras
Tenmars for measuring instruments
Uni-Trend for measuring instruments

2008
A new branch specialized in selling electronic components, power semiconductors, measuring instruments, and tools opened up at Bab El Louk. Its address is 2 Mostafa Abo Heif St. Bab El Louk.
Also, a new branch in New Cairo was opened at El Rehab City which specialized in communication systems, computer networking, and light current contracting.
Its address is the Administrative Building – Office 206 – El Rehab City.
2010
A new branch opened up in 6th of October City which specialized in electrical power and automation as well as communication systems. Its address is ….
